Sage & Stone Bio:

Sage & Stone is a musical Duo that is based in La Grande, Oregon. Sage and Stone can play a 2-hour show of original music, or a 2-hour mix of original and cover tunes, at the venues' request. We prefer not to do 3-hour shows, but occasionally we will! Our original music spans several genres, but has been classified as "Folk-Rock". Our cover tunes are mostly in the classic rock, soft rock, folk rock, and country genres. Our music primarily uses acoustic guitar arrangements enriched by our own recorded backtracks. Covered acts include songs by Tom Petty, Rolling, Stones, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Kacey Musgraves, Eagles, and Don Williams. The vocalist Corie Fowler is from Utah and can also be seen playing the flute. Her profession is currently in the medical field. The guitarist Steve Mclaughlin is from Oregon and is also the one who writes most of the songs as well as puts together the accompanying instruments. Together Steve and Corie form Sage & Stone.
